Elmbridge Borough Council (EBC) is the Data Controller for the information collected through Elmbridge Connectors.
What information we collect
When you complete a volunteering, training or event enquiry form, we may collect:
- your name and contact details
- information about your interests, skills or support needs
- details relevant to your enquiry
Why we collect it
We use your information to:
- respond to your enquiry
- connect you with relevant volunteering opportunities, training or events
- arrange and manage activities you have expressed an interest in
- monitor and improve the Elmbridge Connectors service
Who we share it with
Where necessary, we may share your information with trusted partner organisations, volunteer-involving organisations, training providers or event organisers to help fulfil your request. We will only share the information needed for that purpose.
How long we keep it
We will keep your information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and in line with Elmbridge Borough Council's retention policies.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you
- request corrections to inaccurate information
- request deletion or restriction of your information in certain circumstances
- object to how we process your information
- withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent
